As far as I remember, GTT S and Z threading/forwards/backwards are correct as long as you start with A and D at the top of the cards. Cards are assumed to be lettered counter-clockwise when viewed from the right-hand side of the weaving. So hole-A will be closest to the woven band and D will be furthest from the woven band.
